Myth #2 – Cotton Swabs Are The Best Choice For Removing Earwax

Nope, and they can be dangerous for inner ear cleaning. When using a cotton swab, you’re likely to push the earwax deeper into your ear canal, exacerbating the impaction. Besides packing wax against the eardrum, where it can cause infection, you run the risk of piercing it. Use cotton swabs only for outer ear cleaning, not for deeper ear cleaning or earwax removal.

#4 – We Clean Out All That Earwax

Most of the time, your ears just need a little warm water to soften up the wax and flush it out, but some issues are a bit more stubborn to deal with. For hard-to-reach or stubborn cases, we use a curette to reach in and scoop out any earwax that doesn’t come out on its own.

#5 – The Heavenly Feeling Of Relief!
