Jeremiah Velasquez is a double board-certified nurse practitioner with dual certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center — Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) and Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP-BC). He holds active prescriptive authority in nine states and founded Steel City HRT & Weight Loss to provide lab-driven hormone optimization and medical weight loss outside the constraints of insurance-based medicine.
Most patients who come to Steel City have already been told their labs are "normal." What they needed was a clinician who understands the difference between a normal reference range and an optimal one — and who builds protocols around that distinction.
Every patient is seen by Jeremiah directly, from first consult through long-term management. Protocols are adjusted based on follow-up lab values, not assumptions. Medications are prescribed through licensed 503A compounding pharmacies and shipped directly to the patient in all nine licensed states.

Our Approach
Every program at Steel City begins with labs — not symptoms alone, not age-based assumptions. Hormone levels, metabolic markers, and safety panels are evaluated before any protocol is initiated, and every adjustment is driven by follow-up lab values and patient response. Medications are prescribed through licensed 503A compounding pharmacies and shipped directly to the patient. There are no pharmacy visits, no insurance prior authorizations, and no surprise charges. Pricing is disclosed upfront.
