Your Labs Tell the Full Story

Before personalizing your hormone or weight loss plan, we rely on comprehensive lab work to understand your hormone levels, metabolic health, and key biomarkers.

Labs are required before your initial consultation to ensure your treatment is safe, effective, and tailored to you.

No guesswork. Just precision care that works.

Initial Lab

For Men

CMP (Comprehensive Metabolic Panel)

Includes 14 measurements to evaluate kidney and liver function, blood sugar, electrolytes, and overall metabolic health.

CBC (Complete Blood Count)

Assesses red blood cell levels—important because testosterone therapy (TRT) can raise them.

FSH (Follicle-Stimulating Hormone)

Supports testicular and ovarian function. Crucial for fertility assessment and understanding pituitary function.

LH (Luteinizing Hormone)

Triggers testosterone production in the testes and ovaries. Low LH could signal an issue with hormonal signaling upstream.

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen converted from testosterone. Vital for bone, heart and brain health in addition to libido.

Testosterone, Total

Measures all circulating testosterone in your blood—both free and bound to proteins like SHBG and albumin.

Testosterone, Free

Represents the active 2–3% of testosterone that isn’t bound to proteins and can directly impact tissues. This is the version that does the real work.

PSA (Prostate-Specific Antigen)

A key screening tool for prostate health. Elevated PSA levels can be an early sign of prostate issues.

FAQs

Do you draw labs in the office?

No. At this time, all labwork is completed through Quest Diagnostics or any lab covered by your insurance provider.

Why do I need labs before my consult?

You’re not just a number, but let’s be clear: we don’t guess. Before starting any therapy, we run a full-body check under the hood, not just hormones. We assess your liver, kidneys, electrolytes, and other health markers. Why? Because real results start with real data, and your safety is non-negotiable. No shortcuts. No guesswork. Just smart, personalized care designed to get you feeling your best, faster, safer, and stronger

Can I use labs from my primary care provider?

We handle this on a case-by-case basis—but here’s the truth: most primary care providers don’t run the labs we actually need to get you started. That means you’ll likely end up repeating blood work anyway. In most cases, it’s faster, simpler, and even cheaper to get your labs done directly through us—no insurance headaches, no delays, just answers.

What Are You Waiting For?

When your hormones are out of balance, it’s not just your energy and mood that take a hit. You lose time struggling to feel “normal,” money chasing short-term fixes, and connection in your relationships. Left unchecked, low hormones quietly steal from your life every single day.
